The US Department of Labor recently released a list of 15 companies that are not eligible to apply to H-1B visas. The decision was taken after assessing the salaries and wages paid by these companies. The officials concluded that these companies were deliberately violating the H-1B regulations. Officials said they will have surveillance for five years. These companies include Azale Technologies (Srinivas Acharatta), Techno Technologies (Pratik Bang, Preeti Bakshi).
The US Government issues 65,000 H-1B visas annually. They were allocated in a lottery system. But Trump's government recently decided to cancel the process. Thousands of Indians and Chinese residents are employed in the US based on these visas.
